Significant Achievements:

  • 2004-2006: long term client ALSS experienced measured improvements in productivity, market share, and profitability and expanded from offering “quick fix” shower tray repairs to delivering a comprehensive range of waterproofing and plumbing services.

  • 2005: developed a training course on structural movement in strata buildings approved by the Institute of Strata Title Management (ISTM) as a valid module for licensed strata managers seeking to complete their annual Continual Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

  • 2004: helped organize the 2nd Annual ISTM Charity Night with proceeds going to the Cancer Council NSW. Funds raised increased by more than 500% over the previous year.

Founded R.K. Fountain Company with Robert Fountain Sr. in 1995 to trade after market heavy duty diesel engine parts and equipment.

R.K. Fountain Company served as official Australian and South Pacific representatives for licensed OEM supplier Hatch & Kirk, Inc. (Seattle, Washington) and AmBoss Corporation (New Haven, Connecticut).

  • Successfully applied to become an authorized supplier of engine parts to all major (ISO 9001 accredited) Australian railways - the process involved a quality audit conducted by Freight Corp, a division of the State Railway Authority of NSW.

  • Initiated and helped negotiate a joint venture agreement between H&K and United Goninan to provide engine parts and service within Australia and the South Pacific.

  • Successfully quoted the sale of parts worth over AUD$1,000,000 to Kwajalein Atoll Joint Utility Authority (Marshall Islands) for a major engine overhaul.

Held various casual positions while completing university, traveling abroad, and setting up R.K. Fountain Company, including courier, diesel shop apprentice, laborer, retail clerk, and petrol station console operator.
